BALANCE CLIMATE PVT LTD is planning to involve in Jatropha cultivation in INDIA by the way of supplying the technology for cultivation and other BIOINPUTS.
Besides providing the technology for the low cost cultivation of Jatropha, we can supply the following materials to initiate Jatropha cultivation.

ECONOMICS OF JATROPHA CULTIVATION AND BIODIESEL PRODUCTION
ECONOMICS FOR PRODUCING 10000 LITRES OF BIODIESEL PER DAY
PROJECT FACTS

This project has been worked for the cultivation of
1000hectares (2500 acres) of Jatropha.
· If 1000 hectares of waste land are brought under Jatropha, under irrigated condition, we can produce approximately 10000 litres of biodiesel per day starting from fourth year onwards. Because from 4th year onwards we will be harvesting 10000 metric tones of Jatropha seeds per year from 1000 hectares.
· From these 10000 metric tones of seeds, 3000 metric tones of bio diesel can be obtained per year that works out to ten ton or 10000 litres per day for 300 working days in a year.

In addition to biodiesel, 8000 tonnes of oil cake and
300 tonnes of glycerol are also obtained as by-products per year while
crushing 10000 tonnes of Jatropha seeds.
The cost of cultivation of Jatropha curcas (excluding the land cost) for one hectare at a spacing of 3m X 2m (1666 plants per ha) has been worked out as 2000.00 US Dollars. This expenditure includes land preparation, digging of pits, seedling cost, manure and fertilizer, watering and plant protection etc for three years. Even though the plant starts yielding from 3rd year, to be in the safer side economic yield is worked out from 4th year only. The project is viable for a minimum period of 20 years as Jatropha will give economic yield to a minimum of 20 years.
